Trannel translates whatever your PC plays – browser, video player, game or voice chat. Japanese is detected automatically, so there is nothing to set up per source. If you like, Trannel only listens to one specific app.
The translation appears in an overlay that stays on top of the video or game, freely movable with an adjustable font. F8 shows it, F9 makes it click-through.
Want to answer? Speak English and Trannel says it in Japanese with a natural voice – on Discord and in game voice chats (beta).
Speech recognition and translation run entirely on your PC. Neither audio nor text is uploaded – Trannel works without an internet connection and without a cloud account.
Note on “Voice for Discord”: this feature is in beta. It may contain errors and its scope and behaviour may differ from a later version. It is only included in the version from trannelapp.com. Please test it with the free 30 minutes per week before you buy. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
