Your team speaks Spanish, Portuguese or Russian? Trannel shows you what they say as subtitles on top of the game and speaks your callouts in their language with a natural voice.
Trannel runs on Windows PCs. Send yourself the link to download it later on your PC – or join our Discord in the meantime.
Animated demo of the overlay and the voice for Discord · 38 seconds
Trannel translates the sound your PC plays, including your teammates in voice chat. The subtitles appear in an overlay on top of the game – F8 shows it, F9 makes it click-through so it never blocks a click.
Hold your push-to-talk key and speak in your own language: Trannel translates the sentence and speaks it into a virtual microphone. Choose it once as the input device in the game's voice settings – done.
The installer sets up the free VB-Audio Virtual Cable for this with the option “Voice for Discord (Beta)”.
Trannel only listens to the sound and plays into a microphone – no mods, no patches, nothing is injected into the game. With an NVIDIA or AMD graphics card recognition gets even faster.
Speech recognition and translation run entirely on your PC. Neither audio nor text is uploaded – Trannel works without an internet connection and without a cloud account.
Note on “Voice for Discord”: this feature is in beta. It may contain errors and its scope and behaviour may differ from a later version. It is only included in the version from trannelapp.com. Please test it with the free 30 minutes per week before you buy. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Yes. Trannel runs 30 minutes free every week – with every feature, no sign-up and no payment details. A license removes the limit.
With any PC game whose voice chat lets you choose the microphone, and for subtitles with any game at all – Trannel only works with the sound.
