Typical situations in VALORANT

• Ranked and unrated queues on European and Asian servers often put players of three or four languages in one team – Trannel shows their callouts as subtitles.

Set up Trannel for VALORANT

1. Install Trannel and start it – 30 minutes are free every week, no sign-up.
2. Choose System audio as the source. If you only want one app, pick just VALORANT or just Discord.
3. In the VALORANT video settings choose a borderless display mode (in VALORANT it is called “Windowed Fullscreen”) instead of exclusive fullscreen – only then can Windows show the overlay above the game.
4. Press F8 to show the overlay and F9 for click-through, so your mouse goes to the game.
5. Pick the language you want to read – Trannel detects the spoken language automatically.

VALORANT terms stay as they are

Trannel recognises when VALORANT is running and keeps the words players actually say – such as Spike, Jett, Reyna, Sage – unchanged instead of translating them literally.

Answer in their language (Beta)

With “Voice for Discord” you speak your language and your Discord group hears you translated, with a natural voice. The feature is in beta and only in the version from trannelapp.com.

Offline and separate from the game

Speech recognition and translation run on your PC; audio and text are not uploaded. Trannel does not modify VALORANT or inject anything into it – it listens to Windows audio and shows its own window.

Why don't I see the overlay in VALORANT?

In exclusive fullscreen Windows cannot draw other windows above a game. Switch VALORANT to a borderless display mode (in VALORANT it is called “Windowed Fullscreen”) and press F8.

Which languages does it translate?

20 languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese and Turkish – in every direction.

Does Trannel touch the game files?

No. Trannel only listens to Windows audio and draws its own overlay window; it does not change or read VALORANT's files. Whether third-party tools are allowed is up to Riot Games's rules.

Do I need a graphics card?

No. Trannel runs on the CPU; with an NVIDIA, AMD or Intel graphics card it is faster and can use more accurate models.
