Works with any source

Browser, video player, streaming app or game – Trannel translates the sound your PC plays, so there is nothing to set up per website. If you like, it only listens to one specific app.

Ready in three steps

  1. Download the setup and install it.
  2. Choose system audio as the source and the language you want to read.
  3. Click “Start live” and press F8 – the subtitles appear on top of the video.

Subtitles where you need them

The overlay stays on top of the video, is freely movable and the font is adjustable. F9 makes it click-through, so you can keep using the player underneath.

Private and offline

Speech recognition and translation run entirely on your PC. Neither audio nor text is uploaded – Trannel works without an internet connection and without a cloud account.

Automatic language detection for 16 languages – including Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Thai.
